Documentary Marathon

Yesterday we had our first documentary marathon, it was very insightful, as it gave us some good ideas about how we can develop the script. After some advice from Caroline, we do not necesarily have to base our dramatic reconstructions on a based on a true story!

My Murder

We watched My Murder, a gripping documentary drama that shows the story of murdered teen Shak. He gets set up by a lover interest and honeytrap. The narrated drama was touching incorporating stills from the funeral, interview footage from Shak's mother and the drama.

Reggie Yates Teen Gangs

The second documentary is a BBC documentary presented by Reggie Yates. He explores gang culture in London. It is said that that there are over 704 gangs in London. Reggie talks to a future gang member and his rehabilitation after gang life.
